Week 34

This past week has seriously been SO AMAZING!!! I don't have time to write most of what has happened, so i'll just put the main highlights. First off....we found 12 new investigators this week!! This particular area I'm in has been said to be an area that "unmotivates missionaries" and is a "really difficult area". This week we've just seen so many miracles, it has been amazing, although I take no credit for myself because I really haven't been doing anything. People quite literally just kept popping up out of nowhere who were really interested in the church.

 

Here's a couple of the experiences we've had with these people:

 

#1 last Monday evening we were about to head in for the night, but we saw one last girl out walking her dog, so we decided to talk to her. Her name is Atiana, and We taught her a little bit of the restoration of Christ's church, gave her a book of Mormon and said a prayer with her before we left. A couple days later we saw her again. We saw Atiana three days in a row. That was not our doing. We asked to set up an appointment with her each time we saw her and she would always say that she would like to meet with us the next day. Then, during that time, she came to church with us, read all of the assignments that we gave her and she wants to be baptized on November 22nd. Miracle, right??

 

#2 We had a few minutes before an appointment so we just walked down the street and we saw three teenagers headed down the road. We stopped to them and come to find out, they were all interested in learning more about our church, AND one of their moms was actually a less active member whom no one knew had moved here!! A few days later we were able to stop by the mom and she was so sweet and she wants to come back to church!

 

#3 Vikki Eddington is still coming to church and she keeps wanting to learn more and more about the church! She has been coming to all sorts of other church activities. This past sunday we found out that Vikki's husband (who is an inactive member) had asked her, "so, do the men wear suit coats to church??" It appears that her husband has been thinking about coming back to the church!!

 

There were so many other miracles that happened this week as well, I wish I could say everything that happened, but just know that heavenly father is definitely watching over this whole area, and that their are many people who are ready for the gospel!!
