This week has been going pretty well! Since we have a lot of service and its been warm outside then I generally have tended to try to keep my bangs up out of my face, but this past week I decided to cut them and then the next day I went to church....I had several people walk up and reintroduce themselves because they thought that I was a new sister had just transferred in. Ha ha! Apparently I look more different than I thought!
This week we officially moved into our other house! We actually moved in several days earlier than we previously thought. We got to our first house and literally tossed everything into our suitcases as fast as we could! It kind of felt like we were on the run with how fast we threw everything into our car and headed off. Our new house is pretty nice! We have bigger beds than we did in the other house and the members are pretty nice. Our house is in the woods now, so you don't really see many other people.
Something cool happened the other day. We went to visit Vikki Eddington (nonmember) and when we got there she had her book of Mormon sitting on the table in front of her. She said, "well I was thinking that today we could just read from the book of Mormon instead of talking today!!!" So we went through the whole introduction and testimony of the witnesses in the front and she agreed with everything and said how much she liked it all and that she was going to start reading the book of Mormon right after we left! It was awesome! Before when we'd gone over she hadn't really seemed to even consider getting baptized, but this time, she mentioned something about how "she could be a Mormon someday!" it was really cool!
Something really funny happened this week. So a member gave us a referral. The person she wanted us to go see was her zumba teacher!! the member didn't know any of her other info, but she went to her class each week, so we got the info for the class and on Thursday we showed up!! We met her right at the beginning (her name is mary anne) then we did the zumba class and then afterwards she talked to us again and was so excited to have us! She then said, "Oh my goodness, so you teach all about the bible and stuff, right?? I would LOVE to meet with you!! I'll give you a call!! oh...and also...can I bring a friend with me as well??" it was AWESOME!! I was so excited and the zumba class was a ton of fun!! ha ha I'm pretty sure I'm going to do it regularly when I get back!
Well....there isn't tons more to say.....transfers are already coming up again! September 4th is when they are, I don't think I'll be moving anywhere though!!
